About LindaEDUCATION Linda received her Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Clinical Psychology from Tufts University, Master of Social Work (MSW) degree from New York University, and Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the Carroll Graduate School of Management at Boston College. WORK HISTORY Linda is honored to have been able to provide counseling and support to many individuals and families who have been impacted by a cancer diagnosis through her positions at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and the Cancer Support Community in Boston, Gilda's Club and the Cancer Advocacy Project in New York, as well as Hoag Family Cancer Institute here in Newport Beach. Linda has designed, coordinated and facilitated many cancer support groups, educational classes and programs - including those for cancer survivorship, young adult cancer, breast cancer, gynecological cancer, head & neck cancer, & prostate cancer. She has also facilitated a meditation class for health & stress management & has coordinated a 10 week educational & support program for children who have a parent or grandparent living with cancer. Linda has also spent years working with individuals, couples, and families dealing with challenges associated with mental health disorders, addictions, trauma, abuse, eating disorders, relationship issues, and overall transitions in life. She has worked as a therapist at the Postgraduate Center for Mental Health in New York as well as in the Behavioral Health and Eating Disorder programs at Mission Hospital in Orange County, CA.
